Denzel Washington plays Detective Alonzo Harris a corrupt narcotics officer. Ethan Hawke plays Jake Hoyt a trainee who is assigned to work with Alonzo for his Training Day. Hoyt is in way over his head as he realizes how far up the ladder the corruption goes.
