Earl Brooks, the newly named Man of the Year is an addict, an addict to murder. Brooks has been able to keep his addiction under control until the night of this Man of the Year award. He gets sloppy and is now being blackmailed, but not for money. Mr. Smith is blackmailing Brooks, but wants to go along for his next kill.
