Let me start by letting you know this is one of those artsy films, slow paced, lots of popping colors, minimal dialogue, and an amazing soundtrack. With that being said, let me also let you know that I absolutely love this movie. I'm not usually fond of these types of movies but Neon Demon did it for me. I'm even looking into buying the German 4k release of it.
Elle Fanning plays Jesse a new to town wannabe model. She has never booked anything and only has some photographs taken by an amateur photographer. But for some reason the modeling agency loves her and so do the photographers. Of course, this makes all the other models jealous. The other models have plastic surgery, nose jobs, boob jobs, lipo, the works, but Jesse is a natural beauty. The other models go to extreme lengths to have Jesse's type of beauty.
