Based on the Stephen King novel, there is not much that hasn't been said already about The Shining. Honestly after reading about all the conspiracy theories regarding this movie, I couldn't help but be on the lookout for anything that I could see as symbolism this time watching.
Jack Torrance is set to be the caretaker of the Overlook hotel during the winter months while the hotel is shutdown. Jack takes his family to the hotel and slowly looses his mind when he should be working on his novel.
