A young girl is sentenced to house arrest at her mothers house after stealing money from an ATM. For Kylie being forced to stay with her mother is punishment enough, but she soon realizes that her mom may not be so crazy after all after she herself starts to believe the house is haunted. After some investigation Kylie finds out that the house used to be an institution for the mentally insane, and her room was the place another young girl was stabbed to death. The cop assigned to watch her and keep track of her house arrest is into paranormal investigation and offers his help to the family.
