#39 Nightmares Come at Night (85 minutes)

A stripper looking for a new way to get her customers attention, she decides to slow things down. In doing this she pays more attention to what they want. While doing this she notices a female staring her down. And then again the next day, the woman finally approaches Anna and kind of puts her into a trance, or puts a spell on her. Cynthia somehow convinces Anna to move in with her. While in the house Anna is still under this spell and is continuously having these nightmare about killing people. We soon find out that she is indeed under a spell and is in fact killing these men. There are a few scenes with a neighbor spying on the women, but in typical Jess Franco form there are loose ends that never get fully tied into the story or get fully explained.

I do have to mention that the neighbor girl is played by Soledad Miranda billed as Susan Korda in this film. Also the original Italian title is Les Cauchemars nascent la nuit. Something funny about the movie is the cover art shows Soledad although she is in the movie for less than 3 minutes.
