The first time I watched the Marked Ones, I remember being pleasantly surprised. Because of the fact that it is 5th film in a series I just assumed it was gonna be shitty. So that was all good, I liked the film but then I read someone's analysis of it and apparently I missed a bunch of nods to the other films in the series. So upon the 2nd watch I paid more attention and really appreciated the film more.
A high school graduate gains super powers after being marked by the woman known to be a witch who lives below him and his family. Jesse doesn't know that he's marked until his old classmate is seen leaving the witches house who later if found to be dead.
