The opening scene to Blade is so great! The blood rave with all the vampires, and then Blade enters and just handles business. I must add the soundtrack and songs not listed on the soundtrack are classic.
Blade's mother gave birth to him during her transformation to becoming a vampire, this made blade a "Daywalker". meaning he still has the need for blood but also can walk outside in the daytime. Essentially he is the best of both worlds. Deacon Frost a vampire who needs Blade's blood to complete a ritual to summon the elder god vampires, and in turn wants to rule the vampires and start a war with the humans.
