A woman whose husband is on his death bed is trying to get all the money she can out of him. Her lover who is also her husbands dr. is a skilled hypnotist. Using hypnosis he controls the husband into signing away as much of his money away to the wife, as they are not on the best of terms. The husbands lawyer is suspicious but calls the husband and he agrees to give his wife the money. The husband finally dies but is still under hypnosis, so his mind is still active and able to speak.
