#114 One Missed Call (87 minutes)

The film opens with a young woman sitting by her pond in her backyard, she suspects her cat may have jumped in, as she leans over to investigate something grabs her and pulls her in and she drowns. After she drowned her cell phone begins to dial someone mysteriously. Jump to a few days later at the funeral, one of her friends phone begins to ring but she doesn't recognize the ringtone. A voicemail is left, and the voicemail is dated in the future. The message is herself being killed. This cycle continues and several college students are killed.

Definitely not a great movie, and kind of sounding like a snob, but the original japanese version is so much better. With that being said, it wasn't terrible, and it's watchable, the premise is interesting and the mysterious ringtone is creepy. But the blatant Boost Mobile advertising was very annoying. Fuck advertisements being shoved down my throat when watching a movie.
