Set in the year 2020, a meteor strikes Mexico and earth is invaded by some sort of alien creature. The creatures cannot see, but have extra sensitive hearing, and are out for blood. Lee, his wife, and 3 kids live in a cabin on a farm and are forced to stay silent. Any amount of noise will trigger the creatures and they will flock to the location of the noise and eat them. To add to the stress of the whole family being forced to be quiet, his wife is pregnant. The family has a very elaborate plan in case things go wrong, and the creatures come. Of course the creatures come and the plan starts unfolding only not as it was planned.
