Richard and Justin 2 well off high school kids were bored and began planning the perfect murder. You see Justin was highly intellectual and Richard was more of a follower, but he was more popular at school. The 2 acted as if they didn't like each other in school, but after school they would meet and work out the details of their plan. One day after Richard was tired of waiting to execute their plan, the boys decided to finally go through with it, and pick their victim at random. In theory they're plan was pretty much perfect, but the only problem was they didn't factor in human error, and the fact that the plan may have been to perfect. Detective Cassie Mayweather who is leading the case has a hunch that the suspect and profile of the suspect fit too well. May weather starts thinking outside the box, and starts forming her own theory, albeit an unpopular one with her boss.
