Chuck and Larry 2 NY Firefighters are best friends and co-workers. Larry is unable to up his life insurance and name his children beneficiaries unless he remarries. Unfortunately he doesn't know any women he trusts to make sure his kids get the benefits. Larry convinces Chuck to get legally married as Gay marriage is now legal in NY, and transfer the benefits to him for his kids. This opens a can of worms as they are now being questioned by his insurance provider and getting ridiculed for being gay firemen.
