I really enjoy movies within a movie and fake trailers, Tropic Thunder has both. There are so many quotable lines, and funny scenes in this film.
A movie shoot in Vietnam featuring a star studded cast is behind schedule and the film gets canned. The director decides to step things up and puts the actors in the middle of the jungle with hidden cameras and explosions and blanks in their guns. The only problem is they are bordering on opium field territory and one of the members gets kidnapped. It is up to the rest of the cast to create a plan to rescue him using their blanks and their wit.
